"WHY IS THE WORLD STILL LOST"
JOHN 3:16
INTR:-
IN our text verse we read some of the greatest scripture in the Word of God! God sent a Savior to the world , His Son , THE LORD JESUS CHRIST. He is the SAVIOR and He is the Redeemer and He did pay the price for mans sin , totally and completly. How then is this world still full of lost people ? Why isnt everyone saved!

Four Main Reasons Man is Still Lost :


1. THE HARDNESS OF THE HEART --- GEN.6:5
A. 2TIM3:1-5
B. People have rejected God
C. People do not want God

2. THE HAUGHTYNESS OF THE CHURCH ---REV3:17
A. Pride in our material wealth
B. Clanish congregations
C. NO power in the pulpit

3. THE HORROR OF REJECTION ---- Mat 10:37
A. From family
B. From friends
C. From the world (work place - school )

4. THE HALUSINATIONS ABOUT SALVATION --- 2COR 11:4
A. It is not of works
B. It is not signs and miracles and wonders
C. It is not who you know or how good you are
D. It is by GRACE thru FAITH --- EPH 2:8
E. It is by the conviction of the HOLY GHOST -- JOHN 6:44
F. It is of the LORD!!!!!!




"SOMETHING IS MISSING DOWN AT THE HOUSE OF GOD"
11KINGS 18:13--16
INTRO Hezekiah went down to the House of God and literally stripped all the gold and silver out and gave it to the King of Assyria. Those were precious and Holy things that belonged to the Lord !!!!
I believe that today there are somethings gone from our Churches that belong to the Lord!!!!

1. We have allowed somehtings to be stripped out:::
A. the person of JESUS
B. the purpose
C. the power

2. We have allowed somethings to be sustituted in::
A. popularity
B. programs
C. posters and bumper stickers
D. pityful singing and powerless preaching

3. We have settled for the mess we have made::
A. dead churches
B. dead members
C.dead causes
D. no conversions


WE NEED TO RESTORE (1) HONOR (2) HOLYNESS (3) PRAISE back to our churches




" THINGS THET DID NOT SEE AT BETHLEHEM"

1. THEY SAW THE POVERTY BUT NOT THE PERIL!
2. THEY SAW THE MANGER BUT NOT THE MAN EMANUELLE
3. THEY SAW THE SWADDLING CLOTHES BUT NOT THE SON
4. THEY SAW THE STAR BUT NOT THE SAVIOR

C. when there seems to be no way out-

A. physical manna
B. spiritual manna
